MCA provides an opportunity for students to get a hands-on garden based education. By making the learning process more hands-on, the students are naturally more engaged. School gardens can help teach children about the environment, how food is grown and where it comes from, and the importance of healthy eating. Our fifth grade class is currently learning about how plants grow and reproduce. Such a fun and exciting way to learn!
