Robotics Club
The robotics club at Mother Catherine Academy is an after-school program for all interested students in grades 6-8. The club adheres to FIRST LEGO League guidelines, and competes in local/regional/national competitions.
In this year’s FIRST LEGO League Challenge season, MASTERPIECE, students will get creative and use their critical thinking and imaginations to explore how they can use technology and the arts to help engage others or increase participation in what they love to do.
FIRST LEGO League Challenge -
Friendly competition is at the heart of Challenge, as teams of students engage in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering – building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game. As part of the Challenge, teams also participate in a research project to identify and solve a relevant real-world problem.
Our 2023/2024 FIRSTLEGO League Challenge teams are: RoboGals, Thunderbolts & Robotic Renegades.
