Mother Catherine Academy preschool director, Mrs. Gascon applied for the Jennifer Nizer Passion for Excellence Grant with the Maryland State Child Care Association for a sandbox for our students. We have been awarded the funds to provide a covered 12' by 12' sandbox. Additionally, we will be making other upgrades to our expanding preschool facilities over the summer. Way to go Mrs. Gascon!
